This was Cholsey’s last game of the season and started without two key players. Kidlington played flowing football from the beginning unlike Cholsey who were disjointed; poor communication between the midfield and defence allowed Kidlington take the initiative to score a great goal. Kidlington continued to press in the first half and Cholsey defended well to half time. The half time talk must have inspired Cholsey and they played flowing football in the second half. Kidlington were continually put under pressure. Cholsey had a number of good runs and quick passing play to create a series of shooting chances but they were unable to hit the net which is a good summary of Cholsey’s performance post Christmas.
