An Oxfordshire man was arrested after a crash in which two teenagers died.
At 8pm yesterday, a blue Mercedes 500 and a silver Ford Fiesta were travelling southbound on the A404, Marlow bypass, when the Ford Fiesta left the carriageway and went down an embankment.
The driver of the Fiesta, a 17-year-old man from Reading, and the passenger, an 18-year-old woman from Reading, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 60-year-old man from Henley, was uninjured. He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and was released on bail until later today.
Police urged anyone with any information about the collision, or who saw either of the two cars prior to it, to contact Sgt Beth Walton at the Road Death Investigation Unit, via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.
