A COUPLE have been found dead in a house in Lime Road in what is understood to be a double suicide.

The bodies of a 67-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman were discovered by paramedics at a property in the North Hinksey street on Monday evening, shortly before 7.30pm.

Both were declared dead at the scene.

Police spokesman Chris Kearney said: “The deaths are not being treated as suspicious at this time and Thames Valley Police is not looking for anyone in connection to the incident.”

Oxfordshire Coroner’s Service said an inquest into the deaths was likely to be opened today.
