Police today appealed for information about two burglaries in West Oxfordshire.
The first burglary was at a property in Castle Road, Wootton, some time between 7.30am and 5pm on March 22.
Burglars forced their way into the property through a rear door and stole jewellery.
The second burglary was at an address in Swerford, near Chipping Norton, overnight between March 23 and March 24.
Burglars forced their way into the house through a rear door and carried out an untidy search of the property. It is unknown at this time what property has been taken.
Det Con Kevin Middlecote said: “I would like to speak to anyone who was in these areas at the time of the break-ins who saw or heard anything suspicious, or anyone who has any information about these incidents.
“I urge residents to be vigilant to this type of offence and always keep an eye out for anyone who is acting suspiciously or anything that looks out of place.
“If you have any concerns then you should always contact Thames Valley Police, either through the non-emergency number on 0845 8 505 505 or if you see a crime taking place through the 999 number.”
