A great mornings football at Ardington saw a thrilling game. Headington started well but it was ardington that got the upper hand by taking their chances for a 2-0 half time lead.
Ardington added a third at the start of the second half, then we had a goal feast, for goals in as many minutes! Tyrhys Lukonyomoi back headed a goal for Headington, then added another a minute later for 3-2.
Ardington broke away immediately and went 4-2 up.
Headington responded with goals from Daniel Caswell and Anthony Diaz to make it even stevens at the end. 4-4. Headington had one chance in a goalmouth scramble in the last minute, but couldn't force the ball over. Great game, fair result. Thanks to Ardington for hosting the game.
