Readers of The Oxford Times have more time to get a great discount on tickets for a 1930s-themed air show.
Organisers of Fly to the Past have extended a £15 discount on the £35 adult tickets for one month, until the end of April.
The spectacular, based at Oxford Airport, Kidlington, will chart the history of aviation, with four hours of flyovers from some of the world’s most iconic planes. Flyovers will take audiences from early bi-planes, through the fighter planes of the two world wars, to modern jets.
Festival director Francis Rockliff said: “I have to say I am astonished, considering the recession, by the take-up.”
He said the Sunday, August 21, event had sold a record number of tickets, and was 36 per cent up on sales compared to this time last year.
