Champions Florence Park CC Ladies A ended the Greene King ODDA Winter League season in fine style with a 6-3 victory over their B team in the Premier Division.
Angie Pointin, Carol Harwood and Clare Bywaters gave them a 3-0 lead, the B side pulling one back when Sue Simmonds defeated Angie Godfrey.
A team captain Michelle Ewins made it 4-1, before Lyn Padbury inflicted a first defeat of the season on Tina Hamilton to reduce the arrears.
A 2-1 pairs win wrapped it up for the champs.
Blackbird Bar moved into second place in the Premier Section with a brilliant victory over visitors Nuffield Bar.
Lorraine Singleton gave the home side the lead by beating Hazel Prowton, the Nuffield levelling when Megan Curtis overcame Jane Godfrey.
Blackbird then stormed away with it as Chris Thompson, Sue Smith, Sue Simms and Shaz Thompson made it 5-1, and a 2-1 pairs win sealed a 7-2 success.
Butchers Arms visited Quarry Gate C seeking a win to clinch the Section 1 title and they scraped home 5-4 thanks to Sue Poyser, Maggie Dexter-Naylor and Tracy Radburn, plus a 2-1 pairs victory which clinched the crown.
Donnington Community Centre C are the Section 3 champions, celebrating with a 5-4 triumph over the visiting Quarry Gate B.
In Section 6, John Radcliffe Hospital SC B made it 12 wins from 14 games with a narrow victory at Golden Ball A.
A 2-1 win in the pairs put the seal on a 5-4 verdict, sealing their second title in successive seasons.
Cricketers Arms’ 7-2 win at Littlemore Rugby Club gave them the runners-up spot.
Catherine Wheel B captured the Section 7 title after a 6-3 win over visitors Vikings SC B.
The home side got off to a good start as June King and Sarah Caswell gave them a 2-0 lead, Vikings pulling one back when Georgina Haynes got the better of Nicci Goddard.
Catherine Wheel then went 4-1 clear and a 2-1 pairs success wrapped it up.
