An 83-year-old woman has died following a collision in Lambourn.
Police said the woman was driving a red Nissan Micra southbound along the High Street (B4000) when she was in collision with a stationary recovery truck just before 6pm yesterday.
The truck, which was travelling northbound, had stopped to allow motorists coming in the opposite direction to overtake parked cars.
The victim, who is from the local area, died at the scene of the collision.
