IT APPEARS odd that Oxfordshire hospital managers don’t want to stump up the extra cash for staff who work on the bank holiday being held to mark the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Council and police chiefs have found the cash to reward staff for coming in on the big day.
Wherever your sympathies may lie with such extra payments, someone somewhere needs to set the record straight.
Are health bosses being stingy, or are the other authorities still all too willing to splash the cash when they should be tightening their belts?
