Oxford United fan Angela is in the money
SPRING may have arrived, but this week’s Oxford Mail Face in the Crowd winner is no fairweather Oxford United fan.
Angela Spraggs has been a season ticket holder for 28 years, having been instantly hooked after being invited to the old Manor ground in Headington by her brother.
The 58-year-old, of Gainsborough Green, Abingdon, also owes her sibling a favour for having spotted her face at Saturday’s home game in Monday’s paper.
She plans to spend her £75 winnings on clothes.
