AN ENVIRONMENTAL group has been travelling the county in a bus handing out eco tips during Climate Change Week.
The Wild Waste Show bus was parked outside Sainsbury’s in Witney on Tuesday where the team from the Earth Trust gave out leaflets to shoppers.
Project officer Emma Dix, pictured second left, in between Harriet Perkins and Dorothy Reich, said: “The Earth Trust is all about people and how we think and feel and act towards the environment.
“We believe everyone can do their bit and during Climate Change Week the Wild Waste Show bus is out and about spotlighting what we can all do to reduce, re-use, recycle and compost.”
The bus, which runs on vegetable oil, stopped off at Bletchingdon Primary School near Kidlington on Wednesday, and will today visit Oxford and Cherwell Valley College in Banbury.
Oxford City Council, OxFood and Oxfordshire Waste Partnership will today set up a stall in Templars Square shopping centre in Cowley to give green tips.
