Headington’s Louise Lygo can’t wait to marry the “love of her life”, Liam Gomersall. The parents of three young children, Louise said although they both work they are unable to afford to wed.

She no longer has her father to traditionally turn to for help towards the cost of a wedding as he passed away.

After penning a poem to enter the competition she wrote: “Our only sadness is for those who are not here but watching from above.

My dearest father will be watching me with a big smile.

Proud as I walk down the aisle.”

She added that her soul mate Liam has supported her through the tough times and was her best friend.
