Andrew Martin and Zoe Elliott, from Bicester, hope their hard work and planning for lean times has put them on track for winning the wedding of the year.

The couple, who met while at college 10 years ago, are now proud parents of a one-and-a-half-year-old girl.

Engineer Andrew paid tribute to Zoe, a qualified nursery nurse, as she is partially sighted. He said: “Zoe is now a full time mum and everyone is very proud of her!”

He said that the pair have worked and saved hard since leaving school. They would love to win the competition so their daughter and families will “be able to enjoy and cherish the memories of our wedding as much as we will”.
