After a 1-1 draw at Marston on 13th March, Ardington entertained Marston at home on the 20th March. With Horspath playing in the cup it meant that Ardington would catch up on games and also had the chance to go back to the top of the league.
Ardington started nervously and were in too much of a hurry to get rid of the ball early on in the game, so words of encouragement came from the sidelines to relax and be patient seemed to pay off as the boys started to get into a good rhythm switching the ball and making the right decisions'. Taylor Bloomfield and Alex Kay were involved in the move which saw Kieran Kerby race down the right wing and finish off into the corner of the net. Jake Denton slotted in the second just before half time. Changes were made 5 mins into the second half which saw two more goals for Ardington and two well taken finishes from Jake Denton who completed his hatrick and a 4- 0 victory to Ardington.
