Police today appealed for witnesses after a lorry driver died in a two-vehicle collision on the M40 in Oxfordshire.
The driver, a 61-year-old man from Gloucester, was in a white Iveco 7.5-tonne lorry which was in collision with a large mobile crane on the southbound carriageway just after junction 6, at about 8.15am on Saturday.
The lorry driver, who was trapped in his vehicle, suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision, or the crash itself, to come forward.
