A tremendous game at Romanway saw Headington come out 2-1 winners against league leaders Hanney. Headington had the upper hand in the first half in a realy competitive game, they scored first through Tyrhys Lukonyomoi after a mazy run ended with the ball poked past the goalie. Liam Costar added a second on 27 mins when a shot was blocked and he executed a great left foot volley (from his weaker foot).
In the second half Hanney did their best to get the game back, the had the lion's share of the possession but couldn't breach a resolute Headington defence until the 3rd minute of added time when Sam Davies scored from the edge of the box. A really good game played in good spirits. Well done both sides.
