TWO LANES of the southbound M40 have now reopened following a fatal crash.
The collision between a van and a mobile crane happened at 8.15am this morning and closed the southbound M40 for several hours.
The closure has caused delays of more than an hour.
The accident happened on the southbound carriageway between junction six for Watlington and five for Stokenchurch.
Fire crews and the air ambulance attended the accident but police said the driver of the Iveco van was confirmed dead at the scene.
