FLORAL tributes have been placed at an East Oxford park after a man’s body was found.
Police were called after a walker in Cowley Marsh Park discovered Aaron James’s body in the early hours last Friday.
It is believed the 23-year-old’s body was found hanging from a goalpost.
Last night, tributes, flowers and teddy bears were left at the park describing Mr James, who lived in Iffley, as “full of energy”.
Charris wrote: “I don’t think you will ever realise how many people you have left behind who are going to miss you like crazy.
“Right now everyone is just in shock.”
Chara wrote: “I can’t believe you have gone.
“You were so full of life and energy and you had so much love from everyone around you.”
One, signed by Rhys, Mum, Nic and Keira, said: “Thank you for helping me and mum.”
Police spokesman Chris Kearney said: “Officers were called to Cowley Marsh Park at 1.44am on March 11. We are not treating the death as suspicious.”
A spokesman for the Oxfordshire coroner said an inquest into Mr James’s death has been opened and adjourned.
