A 19-year-old man was one of 100 suspected paedophiles arrested by police investigating the world’s biggest Internet child sex ring.
Thames Valley Police confirmed last night that a man from the Thame area was arrested on suspicion of making, possessing and distributing indecent images of children on January 9.
More than 180 arrests were made in 30 countries around the world as part of Operation Rescue.
The operation was led by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (Ceop) and centred around a now defunct website where the abuse of babies and children was discussed.
The organisation believes more than 1,200 people in Britain could be arrested.
The Oxfordshire suspect has been bailed until May 9.
