The young dancers outsdie the New Theatre in 1980
THESE four girls took to the stage of the New Theatre, Oxford, with ease.
They danced with John Inman in pantomime in 1980 and later that year appeared again as page boys, above, with the London Festival Ballet in Sleeping Beauty.
They were, from left, Sarah Dyer, 11, of Meadow Lane, Oxford, Angela Paget, 12, of Pegasus Road, Oxford, Samantha Bowers, 10, of Meadow Close, Farmoor, and Alison Jackman, 10, of East Street, Osney.
They were all from the Vera Legge School of Dancing and were chosen for the stage roles as they matched in size and stature.
