Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a house in Chipping Norton in the early hours of today.
Burglars entered an unlocked porch at the property in Walterbush Road at about 1.30am and stole two matching Edwardian figurines, both white with blue décor on the edges, as well as a porch table.
The homeowners discovered the burglary at 8am.
PC Andy Ball, of Witney police station, is appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area overnight, or who has information on the burglary to contact him via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you don’t want to speak to police or leave your name, call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Homeowners are being reminded to ensure that their homes are securely locked overnight. This includes porches and conservatories, as well as outbuildings such as garages or sheds.
