YOUNGSTERS getting in trouble at school are celebrating their graduation from an Oxford theatre.
Secondary school children from across the county have been spending two days a week at Pegasus Theatre, in Magdalen Road, to create a drama, an animated film and record a rap.
Pictured back from left are Luis Rodrigues, Dana Taylor, Dyllan Fiddes and Shane Cairns and, front from left, Crystal Watts, Adam Marshall, Sean Crouch and Mistie-Marie Woodman with their certificates.
On Friday, they performed in front of their parents at the end of the seven-week On Course project.
King Alfred’s College pupil Mistie-Marie, 13, from Wantage, said: “It was really helpful and built my confidence.”
Theatre spokesman Gill Jaggers said: “They have a changed attitude. They work together much better, they listen, they focus, and put their energies into something creative.
“They did an amazing job.”
