Two people were pulled from a house fire after a neighbour raised the alarm.
The blaze took hold in the kitchen of a house in Broome Way just before midnight on Saturday.
Both occupants were rescued by firefighters and taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
Watch manager Don Crook said: “The occupants of this property were very lucky to escape with only smoke inhalation. Due to the quick response of the crews in rescuing the couple from the property and the neighbour that raised the alarm in the first place they will both be OK.”
