A pub-goer who was attacked in the early hours of the morning is in a stable condition in hospital.
The 37-year-old man was found with head injuries in Rooks Lane, Thame, at 3.40am today.
He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital where his condition is stable, police said.
The man had earlier been drinking in the Black Horse pub in Cornmarket and police are appealing for anyone who may have seen an argument or confrontation.
