Now in its 35th year, the Uffington White Horse Show has developed a winning formula, making it the most popular country show for miles around.
Uffington is a small village in S.W. Oxfordshire, just 20 minutes drive from Swindon, and the show is organised entirely by volunteers, but its standards are highly professional. Last year's show attracted about 15,000 visitors and raised more than £50,000 for local charities and community organisations.
This August Bank Holiday the show will have some exciting new attractions as well as many old favourites.
Appearing for the first time in Uffington will be the MAD Mountain Bike Stunt Display Team, Richard Curtis' K9 Freestyle Dog Display, which has taken top honours at Crufts, and Farms 2 Ewe.
Sunday will feature the Heavy Horses Show, and on Monday you can see Daphne Neville's famous TV otters in the Natural World Marquee and a Second World War Merlin engine restored to working order.
On both days, there are historic vehicles, falconry, country pursuits, Professor Crump, ferret racing, helicopter rides, Wantage Silver Band, funfair, craft stalls and lots more.
Admission is just £7.50 for adults, £4 for OAPs and children, or £18 for a family ticket.
