ARTHUR Grace was a keen competitive cyclist, but who is the man pictured holding up his bicycle?
That is the question Mr Grace’s grandson, Michael Grace, would like Memory Lane readers to help him answer.
He would also like to know more about his grandfather’s cycling achievements.
Mr Grace senior was a butcher in Sheep Street, Bicester, and it is believed the picture, found in family belongings, dates from 1910.
His grandson, who lives in Green Road, Kidlington, writes: “I would like to find out who is holding my grandfather up. I hope the photograph will jog someone’s memory.
“I know my grandfather won a few races, but there are no records of what he won or who he raced for.”
