The girls section of Gosford All Blacks Rugby Club has received a major boost after receiving a £5,000 donation from a Banbury firm.
Norbar Torque Tools agreed a two-year sponsorship deal with a cheque being presented by Norbar managing director Neill Brodey to club officials at the Stratfield Brake ground.
Mr Brodey said: “The Gosford All-Blacks have made great strides in promoting interest in rugby in schools and we are delighted to help the club develop its girls and ladies section.”
Andy Baulch, director of rugby at Kidlington-based GABRFC, added: “The sponsorship will be used specifically for the acquisition of playing kit, coaching development and local schools outreach. It will be a tremendous benefit to our programmes for this growing area of Gosford All-Black activities.”
