Didcot had to come from behind to maintain their one hundred per cent record against an excellent Kennington team. The first game was dominated by Kennington and they should have been in front before half time. Only some poor finishing, good goalkeeping from Jack Tinsley in the Didcot goal and a goalline clearance from Jamie Barrett kept the scores level at the break. Kennington continued to apply the pressure in the second half and eventually the pressure told and they scored three goals, a hat trick from Harry Sampford and it could have been more. Didcot tried to get a consolation goal but could not find a way through and the first game finished 3-0 to Kennington.
If Kennington dominated the first game then Didcot dominated the second, James Pearson opened the scoring early on. Kennington's only chance of the first half was well saved by Callum Denton with his feet. Declan Hargreaves went close at the other end before he made it 2-0, heading in a James Pearson corner. Didcot carried on where they left off in the second half and after Tyler Brown had hit the crossbar with a crossshot James Pearson fired in to make it 3-0. He then completed his hat trick with a left foot drive. Louie Bumpass scored from a Declan Hargreaves cross to make it 5-0 in the dying minutes and the game finished 5-0 (5-3 on aggregate).
