Police have charged a man with a number of offences in connection with a fatal crash near Thrupp, north of Kidlington, last summer.
Jonathon William Ashworth, 54, ofShipton-on-Cherwell, has been charged with causing death by careless driving while over the prescribed limit; causing death by careless driving while unlicensed and causing death by careless driving while uninsured.
The charges are in connection with a fatal collision on the A4260, near Thrupp, on July 10, 2010, in which 18-year-old cyclist Thomas Kahl, from Kidlington, died.
Ashworth was also charged with driving while uninsured and unlicensed in an unconnected incident on August 10, 2010.
He has been released on bail to appear at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on February 21.
