EXOTIC tastes are on the menu in East Oxford.
The African and Caribbean Kultural Heritage Initiative (ACKHI) is offering people an international lunch once a week. Visitors to the East Oxford Community Centre, in Princes Street, can drop by on Wednesdays between noon and 2pm.
Organiser Junie James said: “We are trying to fundraise for our organisation at a time when cuts are biting hard. We’ve got people cooking meals from places like Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda and Cameroon.”
The meals start at £3.50 and will help fund the organisation, which promotes the cultural heritage of people from African descent.
