I said in last week’s column that if the weather stayed mild, there was a good chance of a fish, writes Andy Webber.
Well, it did stay mild, so I went fishing on the Kennet and was rewarded with this cracking January barbel, weighing 12.13.0.
The river was up and coloured, so I used a dropper to put out some hemp and maggot.
