Greene King ODDA Winter League Section 3 leaders West Oxford Democrats Club proved too strong for East Oxford Conservative Club as they ran out 6-3 winners.
Alan Malyinko put the home side one up, East Oxford levelling when Alan Davis beat John Fagg.
Tim Tricker (180) and Colin East then put the Demos 3-1 ahead, only for Ade Bowden and Bob Boyce to square it up at 3-3.
After that it way one-way traffic as the Demos took the pairs 3-0.
Marsh Harrier A stay in touch, despite a narrow 5-4 reverse against the visiting Bullnose Morris.
Harrier got off to a flying start thanks to wins from Steve James, Tony Sawyer and Alan Hunter, before Bullnose reduced the arrears via Brian Clarke and Colin Hinton, Chris Kearney defeated Ian McMurtha to put Harriers 4-2 clear, but the Bullnose stormed back with a 3-0 pairs win to clinch an unlikely triumph.
Golden Ball made it seven wins from seven games in Section 4 when they entertained rivals Marston British Legion A.
Kevin Ashmall beat Paul Ryan to give the Legion an early lead, the home side replying with wins from Andrew Scott, Dave Rudman and Mark Massingham.
Legion pulled one back when Chris Webb overcame Jim Crawford, but Neil Scott defeated Mick Shirley in the last singles to restore the home side’s 4-2 advantage.
And they kept their unbeaten record intact when a 2-1 pairs victory put the seal on a 6-3 success.
Meanwhile, Blackbird Bar Ladies are making a bold bid to land their first Premier League title after making it seven wins from seven games.
Their latest victims were visitors East Oxford Conservative Club, who returned home with a 7-2 defeat.
Sue Smith, Lorraine Singleton and Shaz Thompson put Blackbird in the driving seat, before Teresa Bowden got East Oxford on the scoreboard.
That only sparked Blackbird to find top gear as Chris Thompson and Jane Godfrey made it 5-1, which they increased to 7-2 after a 2-1 pairs win.
