A great advert for youth football with two spirited sides giving their all but not a single foul committed throughout both matches.
Kennington started brightly with some great passing moves from midfield putting Hinksey under pressure. Harry Sampford opened the scoring for Kennington before John Weeks-Pearson pulled one back for Hinksey. However Kennington continued to create chances and further goals Matthew Kent, Jacob Pattison and a superb hat-trick from star of the show Harry Sampford completed the scoring as the first match finished 5-1 to Kennington.
The second match was much tighter than the first with both sides battling hard but unable to find a breakthrough. Only an absolutely spectacular 25 yard drive from Oscar Griffiths separated the two sides. With both Goalkeepers in good form making brilliant saves the score line remained 1-0.
Final score Kennington Athletic 6 Hinksey Park 1
