Specialist spinal injury litigation solicitor Richard Dawson has joined Banbury law firm Brethertons as a partner.
Mr Dawson, who was previously at rival firm Withy King in Oxford, will lead a new litigation team providing legal advice to clients suffering spinal injury.
One of only a handful of lawyers specialising in this area, Mr Dawson has more than 30 years experience during which time he has helped clients secure more than £100m worth of compensation.
He is joined at Brethertons by daughter Sarah Dawson, a legal assistant, who worked alongside him at the Oxford firm. Together, they will establish the new Brethertons spinal injuries team based in Banbury.
Litigation partner Shaun Jardine said: “Our firm has consistently grown our expertise in litigation over the past ten years to incorporate niche areas of litigation law. This provides our clients with highly specialised and technical expertise.”
