A flood alert is in place on the River Thame and Chalgrove Brook following the thaw.
The alert, the lowest level of warning that is issued, is in force on the River Thame from Marsworth to Shillingford including, Long Marston, Rowsham, Cuddington, Thame, Shabbington, Ickford, Waterperry, Wheatley, Drayton St Leonard and Dorchester, and also the Chalgrove Brook at Chalgrove and Stadhampton.
Alerts that had also been in place on the River Evenlode, from Moreton-in-Marsh to Cassington, and also the River Glyme, at Wootton and Woodstock, have been lifted.
The tributaries on the Upper River Thames above Cricklade have also been given the all-clear.
