The Royal Mail has responded to concerns about postal deliveries in the city.
An Oxford Mail reader in Barracks Lane, Cowley, said she had not seen a postman since December 17.
A Royal Mail spokesman said: “There may have been days when the weather was very bad that the postman or woman did not get to the customer’s street, but certainly deliveries will have been made during that time.
“The vast majority of Christmas mail was delivered, despite the most hostile start to winter weather in the UK in living memory.
“We will continue to deliver any remaining items posted before Christmas as quickly as possible.”
