THIS week’s Oxford Mail Face in the Crowd winner hopes to use her winnings to swap the Kassam Stadium in December for sunnier climes in the summer.
Cherwell School sixth-former Eloise Clayton, 17, is planning a gap year with friends after completing her A-Levels and will put her £75 windfall towards saving for the trip.
A lifelong U’s fan, she was at the Macclesfield game with dad John Duncalfe who is a season ticket holder.
She said: “I am a United fan and I used to play for Oxford United under-15s girls team.”
Eloise, from Summertown, was called by friends who had spotted her in the Oxford Mail.
She added: “It came as a real surprise. I looked really grumpy, but I enjoyed the game!”
Eloise said she hopes to study performing arts at university after returning from her year out.
We are giving away £75 to our Face In The Crowd winner from every one of United’s League Two home matches this season. Those pictured have to visit our offices in Osney Mead within two days of publication to claim the cash.
