I recently spent five weeks in the Neuroscience Ward of the John Radcliffe Hospital.
I would like to thank everyone involved in my care. From Sandra and the ladies on reception to the dieticians, physiotherapists, nurses, doctors and surgeons, I was treated with the greatest consideration and care.
At times the nursing staff were obviously overworked. But, even having to deal with a very busy unit, they were always cheerful and willing.
I could not have asked for better care and I want to thank them all for their part in my recovery and ongoing treatment now that I am home.
I would also like to give a grateful thanks to the staff in the ICU who cared for me in those first few critical days.
Every one of you deserve a huge pat on the back.
