PERHAPS we are being a bit bah-humbugish, but using The Twelve Days of Christmas to put out a funky ‘education’ message about sexual health matters shows where the NHS goes so wrong.
NHS Oxfordshire has been putting out nauseating ditties such as “On the fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me, Chlamydia and it’s symptom free”.
No doubt someone thinks this is a way to communicate with ‘the young people’.
But if you look at NHS Oxfordshire’s Twitter followers, there are surprisingly few real people and a large number of other health organisations.
Should it be paying someone for this when the health service won’t pay out to keep cancer sufferers alive for a few extra weeks?
