Fire broke out in the roof of Blenheim Palace, in Woodstock, today.
Firefighters were called to the blaze shortly before 1.30pm.
More than 40 firefighters from Oxford, Woodstock and Kidlington tackled the blaze and crews said it was likely to have been started by staff heating external water pipes.
