Police are appealing for witnesses after a number of cars were vandalised in Cowley.
Between 3.30pm and 5.30pm on Thursday, ten cars had paint thrown over them in Reliance Way. Police only released details today.
Cowley Neighbourhood Officer, PC Andy Reid, said: “Abusive words were also written in paint on the pavement of the alleyway that runs from Reliance Way through to Barracks Lane.
“I appeal to anyone who had their cars vandalised, and has not yet reported it to Thames Valley Police, to please get in touch.
“I also appeal to anyone who saw people acting suspiciously in the area to contact police.”
Anyone with information that could assist police enquiries is urged to contact PC Reid via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you don’t want to speak to police and don’t want to leave your name contact the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
