THIS man captured on CCTV in a store in Marcham might think he will be raising a glass to toast his crimes this Christmas.
He probably didn’t think he would be featured in day 20 of the Oxford Mail’s Badvent Calendar.
Men and women from all corners of Oxfordshire are having their mugshots printed in the paper every day until Christmas if police suspect them of committing crimes.
This man was snapped walking into Majestic Wines store on the A415 Marcham Road at 2.45pm on November 15 with a woman.
She distracted staff while the man grabbed three cases of Bollinger Champagne worth almost £600 and left the store without paying.
The woman is described as white, in her 20s, with brown hair tied back in a ponytail. She was missing all her front teeth.
She was wearing a grey-coloured tracksuit with the word “pink” written on it.
Pc Aaron Walker said: “I want these thieves to know that we are looking for them and that they shouldn’t be enjoying the proceeds of their crime too much.
“Have you seen this man, or do you recognise the description of this woman?
“Has anyone offered you some Champagne for sale? If you have then you should let us know.
“I would urge anyone with information to come forward as soon as possible to help us bring these people to justice.”
Anyone with information should contact Pc Walker on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
