POLICE believe this suspected burglar stole a laptop computer and they’re hoping to close the lid on the case.
Michael Ward, 28, is wanted in connection with the burglary of a property in Middle Way, Summertown, Oxford, at about 9.30am on March 3. He is today’s Badvent suspect, sitting behind door 15.
Every day this month up to Christmas we are publishing the picture of someone wanted by Thames Valley Police as part our Oxford Mail Badvent calendar.
Police believe Ward could have had an accomplice for the burglary, in which a red Packard Bell laptop and £50 worth of euros were taken.
Det Sgt Andy Thompson, of the Oxford burglary team, said: “We have some good witnesses to this burglary and I really want to speak to this man in connection with it.
“We believe that he has contacts in the Manchester area, so it may be that he is travelling between there and Oxford.
“If you see this man or know anything about his whereabouts, please get in touch.”
Anyone with information regarding Ward’s whereabouts should contact Det Sgt Thompson on 08458 505505.
Alternatively you can call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555111.
So far this year we have featured suspected shoplifters, people who have jumped court bail, a man wanted for graffiti, another for burglary and a woman accused of defrauding her employers.
Police are hoping you can give them an early Christmas present by nabbing any of the suspects.
