A man who carried out a knife attack after he was thrown out of a bar has lost an appeal against his indefinite prison sentence.
Jamall Jaber Coleman, 25, stabbed 29-year-old Anthony Roskruge 16 times outside the Chicago Rock Cafe, in Broad Street, Banbury, in October last year.
Coleman was convicted of attempted murder and jailed indefinitely for public protection at Oxford Crown Court in April.
His lawyers said more credit should have been given for an early guilty plea.
However, Appeal Court Judge Martin Stephens said the sentence was tough but not excessive.
