JUNIOR ‘Jamies’ and ‘Nigellas’ have been cooking up festive treats at the Black Boy pub in Headington.
The Kid’s Kitchen cookery school for children runs every Sunday, and last weekend, youngsters aged four to12-years-old were making Christmas Cake.
Abi Rose, 35, runs the Black Boy in Old High Street with her business partner, Chris Bentham, 34. She said: “We have already made Christmas puddings, and the children loved that, so we thought we’d try cake as well.
“They took the finished cakes home to ice if they wished.”
Ms Rose, and Mr Bentham set up Kid’s Kitchen in 2008, soon after taking over the gastropub.
While the children cook, their parents relax with a drink in the pub.
