Justice minister Jonathan Djanogly confirmed today that Didcot, Bicester and Witney magistrates’ courts will be among the 93 in England and Wales to close.
There were 103 magistrates’ courts and 54 county courts previously earmarked for closure.
The first to close will be in the spring of 2011. Ten magistrates’ courts previously listed for closure, including Newbury, were reprieved, plus five county courts.
