l LIKE many parents, I suspect, I had no idea that my daughter had managed to leave the school premises after lunch to attend a demonstration in Oxford and I certainly did not condone it.
I have now realised that a militant organisation calling itself UK Uncut has been hijacking the student tuition fee protests and this explains the recent media images shown of shops such as Top Shop and Vodaphone being targeted and vandalised.
I deduced this after questioning my daughter intensely and realising that she had inadvertantly been drawn into another faction by mistake.
I wonder if the police are aware of this militant group protesting about tax evasion as no mention of it has been made in many news reports.
I do feel that care is needed with policing youngsters, who often are naive.
