A woman had to be cut free from the taxi she was driving after a collision with a double-decker bus in Witney on Monday.
The woman, who was in her 60s, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, with suspected facial and leg injuries.
Another three people on board the bus were also taken to hospital as a precaution.
The accident happened at around 11.15am, when the woman’s Volkswagen Passat was in collision with an S1 Stagecoach at the Oxford Hill junction with Cogges Hill Road. A fire crew used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof of the car and rescue the trapped woman.
Steven Stewart, from Stagecoach, said: “Three passengers on the bus were taken to hospital, and we also understand the taxi driver was injured. Our first concern is for their welfare.
“We are also helping the police with any information we can as part of their inquiries into the incident.”
Thames Valley Police said the road had been temporarily closed, but had reopened at 1.30pm.
