Police are appealing for information after a robbery in Headington.
A 42-year-old man was walking down Cuckoo Lane and was at the junction with Pullens Lane when the incident happened.
He was approached by three young men who threatened him and demanded he hand over his things.
The man handed over his wallet and the three robbers walked off in the direction of Jack Straw’s Lane.
The robbery happened at about 11.25pm on Friday, but details were only released today.
The men are described as being in their late teens and were wearing hooded tops with the hoods up.
Det Con Ben Yeats said: “I would ask anyone who saw anything they consider suspicious to come forward and speak to us.
“The neighbourhood team will be mounting reassurance patrols in the area and speaking with local residents about any concerns they may have.
“Thankfully incidents of this nature are not very common and it is for this reason we will be putting resources in place to catch the person responsible.”
Anyone with information should contact Det Con Yeats via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively, you can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
