A woman was cut free from a taxi she was driving after a collision with a double-decker bus in Witney yesterday. The woman, in her 60s, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with suspected facial and leg injuries.
Another three people on board the bus were also taken to hospital as a precaution.
The accident happened at about 11.15am when the woman’s Silver Volkswagen Passat collided with an S1 Stagecoach at the Oxford Hill junction with Cogges Hill Road.
A fire crew used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof of the car and rescue the trapped woman.
